വെള്ളരി നട്ടു വെള്ളമൊഴിച്ചു
വള്ളുവനാട്ടിലെ വല്ല്യമ്മ
വള്ളികൾ നീളെ കായ വിരിഞ്ഞതു
വള്ളുവനാട്ടിൽ പാട്ടായി
വെള്ളരി വാങ്ങാനാളുകളെത്തി
വല്ല്യമ്മയ്ക്കൊ കോളായി
